I didn't start as a consultant or engineer. I began parking cars. I drove executives, handled grocery bags, and eventually sat in the room where the operational decisions were made. When I became a Business Analyst, I saw every inefficiency up close. When no one could build the tools we needed, I taught myself to build them.

Today I'm the AI Systems Architect, Business Analyst, and Software Engineer at Erewhon, a 10+ location organic grocery operation. I don't hand off a spec to an engineer or wait for a BA to define the problem. I do all of it: from identifying the inefficiency to shipping the system to keeping it in production.

I didn't climb a traditional ladder. I was a chauffeur before I was an analyst, and an analyst before I was an engineer. Along the way I worked inside the buying team, covered for accounting when they were short-staffed, and sat in on executive decisions before I ever wrote a line of code. By the time I started building systems, I already knew exactly what was broken and why. That's not a background you can fake.
